SETUP BY ADMINISTRATOR

The Super Administrator is expected to setup the information required for the smooth running of the application.

Following are setup activities expected to be performed by the admin before using the portal by other stakeholders.

  1. Company Setup : Here information about the company should be incorporated or updated.

  2. Update account number format (Initialize Account No) : By default savings account is set to 1000001, 1000002 etc while loan accountis set 4000001 etc. Update appropriately pls.

  3. SMS Setup : This is for sms delivery to customers or any other stakeholders. If not interested, it can be set to inactive. The username and password is as contained in SMS Portal. Note that the username and password must always be the same on your portal and the sms portal. 100 units of sms is credited freely to enable testing of the sms module.
  4. Loan Type : Types of loans available with their details are entered here.

  5. Country, State, Region and City Lists : Information about each of them

  6. Users /Staff : Only the admin has the priviledge to create user accounts. This is possible under View users list

  7. Approval Limit Mgt : This is where the loan authorization limit for the management staff are set

Role Assignment (Users are created according to needs)

There are seven types of users by role in this appliaction. (1). Super Admin, (2). Managers, (3). Accuntant, (4). Clerk, (5). Cashier, (6). Customer and (7). Auditor.


  1. Super Admin : He does the setup as well as maintaining the portal. He also has hands in loan authorization Portal backup is expected to be performed regularly by the Super Admin.

  2. Clerk : The is the first category of staff to meet the customer. He does the customer profiling and account creation. He can also request loan on behalf of customer and also do fund transfer.

  3. Cashier : Cashier specializes in receiving and paying money out to customers. Can only transfer fund from his vault to another vault or other internal account

  4. Managers : Have access to all savings and loan activities. Authorizes new savings account and new loans. Can also perform fund transfer

  5. Accuntant : Have access to all savings and loan activities. Can work also do cashier work.

  6. Customer : Customer can, upon logged in, request for loan. He can also update his profile with any requested information.

  7. Auditor : Exacly like the Super Admin. But no hands in loan authorization except access to loan information

Other Information

  • Based on CBN rule, account is set to automaticaaly entered into domant state after 6 months of non transaction. For this reason, the system itself shall do this every 1st day of every month.

  • When a user logged in and the account is left inactive for 30 minutes, the system automatically logs such a user out. He/she is expected to login again. Activity (if it happens) may be null
